Welcome to the New Zealand Centre for Investigative Journalism.

The Centre was established to encourage and support investigative journalism in New Zealand.

It brings together journalists, documentary makers, authors, students and others who are doing or would like to do investigative journalism,

The Centre has several main goals:

  • Linking up and encouraging collaboration between people doing investigative journalism
  • Training and skills sharing
  • Promotion of professional and ethical standards for investigative journalism
  • Showcasing good investigative journalism work done in New Zealand.

The Centre runs an annual conference.

It was founded by James Hollings, Keith Ng and Nicky Hager.
